Personal Information: When you sign up for MDCHCA trainings, register for an event, receive our newsletter, or when you become a member of the Association, you may be asked to provide personal information. The information we collect is clearly set out on this web page on which we collect it. For example our registration page and order form. Credit card information is used only for completion of the transaction for which it was provided and is not stored nor recorded for any other type of use.                         

Web Site Activity Data: We may collect your IP address and use cookies unless you configure your web browser not to accept them. The data is collected as a whole rather than individually. This allows to track the MDCHCA Web Site and is not used to personally identify you. By tracking this information, we can build the most effective Web Site for all of our visitors. Use of Collected Information

MDCHCA's primary objective in collecting user information is to provide the best member and customer service possible. User–specific information that is provided by the user is normally incorporated into MDCHCA's general member and contacts database. MDCHCA uses information in the database, and shares some of this information with third–party service providers, for the purpose of executing some of users-requested services and registrations. MDCHCA occasionally shares some collected information with member and nonmember individuals, such as when we provide attendees of an MDCHCA event with a registrants list containing contact information. MDCHCA generally does not sell or trade collected information to third parties specifically for commercial use.

Who we disclose it to 

We will only pass on information about you or your business to third parties to enable us to perform services requested by you. One of the main goals of the Association is to connect people and to grow our members’ businesses. With your prior consent, we will pass your contact details to third parties who can be interested in your services or to those who may be a good fit to help you grow your business.

Credit Card Data / Data Protection / Security 

MDCHCA is committed to keeping personal information secure during commerce transactions that involve using credit card information. Therefore, all credit card transactions are processed through Paypal or First Citizen Bank. MDCHCA do not have access to Users’ credit card information, nor store any credit card information.

Financial institutions and the servers that store collected information have industry-standard security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information. MDCHCA Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy

MDCHCA Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy

  • The Metro DC Hispanic Contractors Association (MDCHCA) reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the MDCHCA.
  • If MDCHCA refuses a new or renewing membership, registrants will be offered a refund.
Membership Cancellation by Members
  • Memberships cannot be cancelled by members. No refunds will be issued in this case.  

MDCHCA Event Refund/Cancellation Policy


Event Cancellation by MDCHCA
  • The Metro DC Hispanic Contractors Association (MDCHCA) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
  • If MDCHCA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
  • Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Event Cancellation by Sponsor

  • Sponsors have the right to cancel its event participation and submit an event cancellation request. Due to Pre-event advertisement and other costs, MDCHCA will issue a refund according to the following:
  • 100% refund will be issued when request is made 45 days before the event
  • 50% refund will be issued when request is made between 30 and 44 days before event
  • 25% refund will be issued when request is made between 8 and 29 days before event
  • No refunds will be made if cancellation request is made 7 days before event
Registration Cancellation by Event Attendees
  • Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 5 business days before the event.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
  • Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
  • All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

Empleate /Get Hired Construction Job Fair, Oct. 19 POSTPONED

The Construction industry is Booming in the Greater Washington DC region with cranes in the sky, footers in the ground and truckloads of materials navigating the bustling and busy streets.  However, despite the tremendous development, many construction-related companies have expressed concern about the challenge of finding qualified bi-lingual professionals to fill the myriad of jobs available.

As such, the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the  Metro DC Hispanic Contractors Association, the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Turner Construction, Gilbane
Construction, Davis Construction, Sprint, First Citizen Bank, Kohler by Grof, and Tradesmen International, have come together to host the First Construction Job Fair targeting all those who are interested in learning about, and applying for, these open positions.

On the morning of October 19th, Job Fair attendees will have the chance to meet with approximately 20 industry-related recruiters to explore career opportunities. Simultaneously, these companies will be able to speak to some of the best and brightest talent from our area.

Attendees will find job opportunities in the fields of engineering, architecture, construction management, office administration, sales and more. From experienced professionals looking to make a career move, to skilled tradesmen, to students, to laborers, we will be welcoming a diverse group of people looking to find a satisfying and lucrative career in the construction industry!
