Annual Corporate Networking Reception 2024

We are the Metro D.C. Hispanic Contractors Association. A business guild that  represents Hispanic, minority & immigrant owned small, construction businesses in the  Mid-Atlantic region.

Each year we hold a Corporate Reception outdoors, with over 200 members from the  construction industry in the Mid-Atlantic region. Our entire 42-member Corporate  Advisory Council send representatives as well as over 150 of our businesses from the DMV area. Topics to dicuss are diversity, equity and inclusion in the construction marketplace.

The Corporate Reception gives thanks to the 50 members of our Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) who support our activities year round and in particular are major sponsors of our GALA event (this year to be celebrated in late October). The affair is always a lively mixture of sub-contractors who network with representatives of the large builders and corporate supporters.

The evening features live musical entertainment (courtesy of Zeniza Orchestra) and a program that includes a visit from Senator Tim Kaine, a discussion of successful diversity programs at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority from MWAA Board member, Hon. J. Walter Tejada along with remarks on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from our friend and mentor, the Hon. Warner Session.

Musical entertainment, an open bar and a nightcap on the beach with cigars and libations brought to you by The CalPro Group. An enchanting evening!
