The Environment is our primary concern not an afterthought.
We'd like to welcome to MDCHCA Sparrow Consulting led by the talented Zaira DeLeon. Sparrow is a company that specializes in Environmental Remediation and Industrial Hygiene. Her company is currently working at St. Elizabeth's on a project for Keystone Plus Construction. Zaira's company provides surveys and environmental planning to make sure projects are properly founded and do not require further cleanup or remediation. She is an efficient and qualified professional and her company does first class work.
Tellez Contractor LLC has provided services for over five years as a registered and insured electrical sub-contractor in Maryland, Washington D.C and Virginia in the commercial and residential area.

Dear Friends,

I hope you and your families are safe and well. I have spent much time these past few weeks thinking what I could personally do to have an impact on our Washington, DC, community and for needy families during COVID-19. I realize that I am incredibly fortunate not to have to worry about food, housing, or income. Of course, we are all worried about our health, which is universal.

But many of our immigrant families (those we know personally, because they cut our hair, clean our homes and offices, take care of our elderly parents and children, and so much more) cannot access unemployment funds or food programs.

I have therefore decided to join an effort with a new local non-profit called "Close the Gap: Food for Immigrant Families" in partnership with the Metro DC Hispanic Contractors Association, Latinas USA and Giant Foods to provide a family with a gift card to Giant to enable them to purchase nutritional groceries for their family.

$50 will provide a family with a two-week supply of groceries, while $100 will provide the family with a month's worth of groceries.

I am asking friends and business colleagues to donate $50 or $100 a month for three months for a family in need of food, but any amount of donation is welcome.

We are committed to providing this sustained food allowance for three months initially with the hopes that it can be longer or until we can get back to normalcy.

Please help us to “Close the Gap" by giving to a family in need by clicking on the link below.

Thank you,

Metro DC Hispanic Contractors Association proudly announces a 'virtual networking session' with PEPCO on June 16th.
