Members & Friends:

We're pleased to announce we have been working on two groundbreaking meetings for locally based small businesses in the industry. We set up a breakfast on February 15 with large construction project owners, 6 of the largest GC's in the region and construction leadership from our network. You can read the notes about that meeting >>HERE<<

We are now setting up a follow up meeting for members and network partners, Friday, March 16th at the DC Convention Center, 3 pm in Room 207A. This meeting is By-Invitation-Only and is restricted to local construction or construction related firms who do either commercial or a significant amount of residential projects in the region. The meeting will allow small, local construction company owners and construction tradespersons to hear construction industry leaders speak about how to prepare for bids and contract opportunities in the local construction sector and how to enter the construction field. A Synopsis of the first meeting can be reviewed >>HERE<<.

You can access the invitation to this meeting >>HERE<<.. In order to register for this meeting contact Jose Sueiro: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or telephone 202-203-0120.

That same day as part of the very same Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) BUSINESS EXPO, we are providing a section at that event titled THE CONSTRUCTION VILLAGE. Eight of our largest members will be creating the Village and holding presentations there throughout the day. You can read about what we are doing >>HERE<<. ..We still have 3 spaces for members to participate as a sponsor at $2,000. At the Village there will be a free space for our members to congregate and pass out their literature. We have also arranged with the GWHCC to allow our members to purchase a booth at the Expo (outside the Village) for $400. If you are interested in a booth contact us. We estimate that over 2,000 people will show up at the Expo. JOIN US THERE on: Friday, March 16th at the DC Convention Center
